Twigital™ (twin-digital) is a decentralized application (or a DApp). It is a core piece of Web3
infrastructure that facilitates the creation of digital twins. These digital twins come in the form of
3D objects (or assets) that can be utilized in many ways and are compatible with immersive digital
environments. Twigital is thrilled to offer a novel solution that creates the digital twin and mints the
resulting file to take the form of an NFT all within the workflow of the application.
Twigital creates tokenized digital twins. Twigital is pioneering this concept by offering the first
application built to facilitate the creation of these new and exciting filetypes. These files come in
the form of .USDZ files (a 3D object filetype) that have been tokenized (in this case on the Hedera
public distributed ledger).
Decentralized applications (DApps) are built using blockchain or distributed ledger technologies. DApps
allow users to transparently complete transactions, verify claims, and collaborate without needing to
trust a centralized intermediary.

Hedera is a decentralized, open-source, proof-of-stake public ledger that utilizes the leaderless,
asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerance (aBFT) hashgraph consensus algorithm. It is governed by a
collusion-resistant, decentralized council of leading enterprises, universities, and web3 projects from
around the world.

No. Twigital is a decentralized application. There is no username or password supplied by or recorded by
Twigital. When you create an account through Twigital, you are creating a Hedera account. This is how
your Twigitals are accessed. Be sure to record your private key and seed phrase to access your Twigital
assets. If you already have a Hedera account, you can also “connect” this account to the Twigital DApp.
Think of your Hedera account like a key to a mailbox in the cloud.
When you “tokenize” your Twigital asset, you are creating A non-fungible token (NFT). The top asset in
this NFT will be the digital twin. You can tokenize an asset created with the Twigital app, or you can
upload compatible 3D files (.USDZ) created elsewhere and tokenize those as well.
When creating an account with the Twigital DApp, a user is creating a Hedera account (NOT a Twigital
account). When connecting an account to Twigital, a user is connecting an existing Hedera account.
Metadata means "data about data". Metadata is defined as the data providing information about one or
more aspects of the data; it is used to summarize basic information about data that can make tracking
and working with specific data easier. In Twigitals case, the metadata is organized in a standard schema
as defined by Hedera. This may include important information surrounding the creation of the digital
asset.
Twigital assets are stored both to a cloud server maintained by Twigital as well as IPFS (interplanetary
file system).
